“I started the course in October 2006 on the recommendation of a work colleague. It was a well organized, professional course but above all it was really friendly. I benefited greatly from the course. It has helped in my career as well. Even though I work full time I teach fitness classes in the evenings”.
It was great that the course was linked to the University of Limerick. I was interested to progress and did a number of specialist modules in the years after I finished. I am about to graduate with a Diploma this year. I am currently doing the Diploma in Holistic Massage with Motions and I am enjoying it. As with the fitness course the tutors are great and very friendly and helpful”.

“The tutors at Motions are second to none! They were so helpful throughout the entire course, and went beyond the call of duty! The course content was very well prepared and enjoyable and covers so many different aspects of the Health and Fitness Industry. The facilities in Palmerstown were great and made going in on Saturday mornings each week fun and inviting!”
“Linda, the course coordinator was an absolute gem! She held our hands the whole way, and made sure we were all well prepared for the exams and we were. I would highly recommend the course in Motions, without hesitation!”

“I completed the CEHF in Palmerstown in 2010. It was a most enlightening educational experience. My best day came when I received my first class honours Certificate from the University of Limerick.
The knowledge gained has given me the confidence to establish up my own fitness business doing personal training, pilate’s classes, body conditioning sessions and more. I have passsed normal retirement age but have no intention of giving up thanks to NCEF. It’s never too late to start and always too soon to finish”.
Adam is our oldest graduate and in addition to his fitness business he is a top class athletics coach with Rathfarnham AC and he has continued on the NCEF pathway towards the Diploma.
“I had just finished a degree in sports management in UCD and realized that I needed some practical experience if I was going to the jobs market. The CEHF offered the prospect of a practical professional qualification that opened up more career avenues. The course is great preparation for anybody thinking about working in the fitness industry. It gave me the confidence to teach groups as well as design fitness programmes for individuals”.
James was an international athlete. He won 2 European Silver medals and represented Ireland at 2 Olympic Games. Since completing the course he set up his own business and was then appointed as the Performance Director of the Irish Paralympic athletics team.
“I have to say I enjoyed every second of the course and found every single one of you really excellent tutors. I learnt so much more than I thought possible because at the beginning of the course I never thought I’d remember everything but somehow I seem to have all this new knowledge and feel so much more confident!
“So thank you all so much and I would definitely recommend the course to anyone, it’s tough at times but all made much easier with great support from you guys!”.
